Argenta Lodge No. 3 announces the installation ceremony of its new officers for 2012, in the auditorium of the Salt Lake Masonic Temple. Bring a camera and come see a good introduction to public Masonic ritual, complete with all the pomp handed down from time immemorial. This is a historic joint installation ceremony between Argenta Lodge and High Marine Lodge of the Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Colorado.  The ceremony begins at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium, followed by a social hour with light refreshments in the banquet hall. Live handbell music will be provided.  This is a public ceremony, and all interested guests, family, and visiting dignitaries are welcome to attend. Please RSVP your attendance to rsvp@argentalodge.org to help us plan for refreshments.

Summer Steak Fry!!!

Brethren,

I am excited to announce the date and time for the Annual Summer Steak Fry.  This year Argenta’s Summer Steak Fry will be held on Sunday, July 31st at 3:00 P.M.  This year we will be changing venues; we will be at the John Neff Picnic Area in Millcreek Canyon.  The John Neff Picnic Area is part of the Church Fork Area, about 2.3 miles past the fee station, on the left side of the road.

There are a limited number of Vehicle Passes available.  They will be available on a first-come basis with an RSVP to Eddy Roberts, Junior Warden at rsvp@argentalodge.org

As usual, the Lodge will be providing Steaks, Chicken, Burgers, Brats and a vegetarian “meat” as well as soda and water.  Please bring something for pot-luck and any adult-type-beverages you may wish.

Please include in the RSVP how many will be attending and if there are special dietary requests (like vegetarian “meat”, etc.)

Upcoming Degree Work

Brethren,

The Worshipful Master is pleased to announce degree work for the coming Month.  On Tuesday March 15th, we will be initiating two new Entered Apprentices, the Gavel will fall at 7:00 P.M. (Rehearsal will be on the 14th).

Tuesday the 29th will be our annual hosting of Golden Spike Lodge #6, and with their assistance, we will raise a brother to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason.  Lodge will open at 6:30 PM, we will then call off for a light dinner, and then start the degree work at 7:30 PM sharp.  We would encourage everyone to make the opening and dinner as the major point of having joint meetings is fellowship.  (Rehearsal for the MM degree will be on the 28th; where we will also work on some pieces for the Grand Master’s Visitation in April).

Bethel 13′s Guide Project!

Argenta Lodge is pleased to support the Bethel 13 Spring 2011 Guide’s project.

Bethel 13 annually hosts a St. Patrick’s Day Luncheon.  This year, it will be held on March 12, 2011 at the Salt Lake Masonic Temple (Following the St. Patrick’s Day Parade)

The menu includes the option of Corned Beef & Cabbage, or Soup.

Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door.  Please contact our Bro. Junior Warden (Eddy Roberts — eddy.roberts <at> argentalodge.org) by March 4th for advanced tickets.
