We have an upcoming DOUBLE Fellowcraft Degree on the 16th of February.  Lodge will open at 7:30 PM at the Salt Lake Masonic Temple.  Please come help support these brothers!

REVISION:

Due to the amount of comments and minor changes that came up at the February Meeting; the members in attendance decided to hold a second meeting for comments on the new bylaws.  Accordingly, the discussion will be continued in March, with voting to be held in April.

Brethren,

You will shortly be receiving a mailing containing a proposed total revision to the Bylaws of Argenta Lodge.  We ask that all of you take time to look this document over carefully and come to lodge at the stated business meetings in both February and March.  We will be discussing this proposal in length at the February meeting and will be voting on it at the March meeting.  To pass, it will require a 2/3 majority of those “present and voting” at the meeting in March.

The Worshipful Master and the bylaws revision committee feel that this is a vital revision needed to bring the Bylaws into compliance with Grand Lodge Code and with the current practices of the lodge.

If you have any questions about this proposal, there will be several methods of contacting the appropriate brethren contained in the mailing.

On Tuesday Dec 22nd we will meet in the Parking Lot at Best Buy on 2100 S. and 300 W. at 6pm.  We will depart on TRAX shortly there after heading downtown to walk around to view the holiday lights that are on display.  When we decide we are cold enough, we will return to our vehicles via TRAX and go to the Coffee Connection to warm up with a nice cup of hot cider or cocoa.  The only cost incurred will be the TRAX fare and whatever you want at the Coffee Connection.  Please note that this event is open to all family members.
